About YCAA

Yorkshire County Athletics Association (YCAA) is the competition provider for the county of Yorkshire, providing competition opportunities for eligible athletes* and clubs who are affiliated to England Athletics.

YCAA organises and delivers an annual Cross Country Championship event and an annual Track and Field Championship event, and has provided annual Road Relay events (when venues have been available).

YCAA send selected teams, each year, to the CAU XC and Track & Field Championships, and send a young athlete team to the Northern Inter counties Competition

YCAA is also linked with Fell and Hill running championship events organised under FRA rules and standards.

*To be eligible an athlete must be born in the county (West, North and South Yorkshire) or must have been resident in the county for 9 months or more.
